An exceptional performance by a rampant Boro side coming up against the second on the division. The Kingstonian crowd swelled by a large Boro contingent would have been shocked by the intensity of Boro’s display . Boro began brightly and within a couple of minutes Akinwande was through with the keeper to beat however Tolfrey was equal to the task and saved well with is feet. Boro continued to push and in the 18th minute Boro took the lead after a well worked move led to Nouble smashing home from close range. There was an immediate response from Kingstonian who looked brighter and mounted some forays down the Boro right, Pajetat was called into action on a couple of occasions and as the half drew to a close Kingstonian appeared to be on top. No one foresaw the turnaround in the second half however as Boro came out and totally dominated the whole half. Akinwande made it 2-0 only 2 minutes after the break from a fine O’donoghue cross which was palmed into the path of Akinwande ( pictured ) by Tolfrey. On 56 minutes the game was made safe after a towering header from the impressive Rowe after a pin point free kick by O’donoghue. still time for Mckenzie to get on the score sheet on 79 when he calmly slotted past Tolfrey when clean through. All 3 strikers scoring in the same match for the first time this season and along with the incredible din from the away fans it was a greta day for all concerned with the club and the 5th straight win in the league .
