Boro were knocked out of the Velocity Cup at the semi final stage following a crazy 16 minutes that saw 5 goals.
Margate were awarded a penalty after 61 minutes which was converted. Five minutes later following a through ball Adam Morgan rounded the goalkeeper to make it 1-1.
Level terms only lasted 6 minutes as Margate again took the lead. Boro then made it 2-2 following a bullet header by Scott Mitchell from a corner but Margate almost straight from the kick off went up the other end and grabbed the winning goal.
Two semi final defeats in a week is tough to take but we are back to the league Saturday at home to Bowers & Pitsea
