We welcome Sutton United of the National League as our visitors on the above date as we conclude our pre season build up with the Isthmian League starting on Saturday 19 September with our visit to Corinthian Casuals Whilst this will be the culmination of our pre season preparations it is almost the beginning for Sutton who will not commence their league fixtures until 3 October .
Having liaised with Sutton United we have decided to make the above pre-season friendly an all ticket match .
The ground capacity will be 600 and the Away fans will be admitted through the Fenton Road entrance and turnstiles. Social distancing measures will be in place and we ask you to read the Covid 19 measures contained within this site so as to ensure familiarity prior to your arrival. We expect to also have in place a track and trace system and the precise details will be announced shortly, suffice to say we propose to use a system several Clubs are using in our league called Eve Pass , hopefully many of you will already have the app or alternatively you will be able to scan your phone upon arrival. The crowd will be segregated but purely for the purpose of maintaining social distancing and no other . We welcome all Sutton fans and will do our best to ensure that you enjoy the experience of a visit to our ground although please don’t expect Coby Rowe to keep our front line at bay !!!! Likewise our fans, as always, will be welcomed, and we feel sure that it will be special day and good to see Coby back although it will certainly feel strange if he makes an appearance and is wearing the opposition shirt. I am sure he will get his usual rousing welcome from all at Boro who are so proud to have played a part in the furtherance of his footballing career.
