It has now been confirmed by the Isthmian League that the season has officially been curtailed . It was an inevitable conclusion in light of the serious effect upon all persons by the pandemic and the tragic consequences for many which made playing football of academic importance . The Club have been supportive of the League position from the outset and it is clear from the votes cast by League members that most were agreeable to the cessation of the season . The word curtailed is only used to enable the League to possibly revisit the current matches played and attach any weight or significance to them were the need to arise at some stage in the future . Although frustrating for everyone who is involved and who supports non league football your Club will be back, better and stronger than before and it will be an absolute pleasure to welcome you all when it is safe to do so. All things being equal it would appear that a fresh start will be made in August and we all hope that with careful social distancing measures being adopted and followed we will all be able to once again enjoy one another’s company and support the boys and girls who participate for the Club .
