Boro are pleased to announce that our former youth team and development player Themis kefalas has signed pro forms with QPR . Themis played in several under 18 and under 23 games for Boro last season and featured in a number of first team pre season matches this season.
The 18 year old tall imposing centre half will hopefully make the grade and started really well by playing for the QPR under 23’s recently against Leeds United and did his reputation no harm at all with a fine display capped by a 95th minute equaliser . Just goes to re enforce the quality of the coaching at Boro and we hope that several more of our youngsters move on to the pro game via the platform we provide .
